I do – again and again and again – a renewal of vows.
This sweet love story starts on April 01st 2005 where Maria & Sascha meet at a music retreat. It was love at first sight! Sascha knew at that moment, that Maria was the girl he would marry. Two days and two sleepless nights later, they set eyes on one another again – and the sparks flew! Sascha got hold of Maria’s phone number from a mutual friend … and that’s how it all started. They got married July 2007 and had a little daughter named Ella in 2010. A couple of really difficult years follow, with lots of personal setbacks. They get through it being founded in their faith in God. These years deepen their relationship. Ella or sometimes they call her Elli is their biggest joy and love. Looking back at the years they wanted to renew their vows. With just the three of them being present, they made their dream for a wedding at the beach come true. We set this to be an intimate and personal affair where the two of them could enjoy each others company and setting at the beach. I love the little details i.g. the writing on the grooms boutonnière with the engraved letters: ‘tying the knot’ or the tiny flags with little love notes. One especially sweet item was having their vows printed on postcards, so that they could mail them out to their loved ones after the wedding. My all-favorite though is the wedding bouquet and the flowers – complimenting the colors of the sand and beach setting.
